Hrnhmm...

Okay, while it's honestly going to be trouble for the school, I'm taking the next few days off. I did want to try to push until Golden Week, and use that, but...

I've been far too focused on teaching and working recently, I haven't been able to get anything done. Or work out the gut feeling that I should be doing something... But the end result is, I can't keep putting it off for work like this.

A few days to myself should help, either way.

It's not that much trouble. I'm getting extra pay for the moment and most of the kids know to keep their mouths shut, especially Fusion side, after I did some inventive reorganization.

How has that whole situation been handling, anyway? I know things were left in a mess after the instructor suddenly left. What was it that triggered that again?

Fine. Kids bitched for a bit but they've mostly gotten in line or else I dunk on them in front of the class and then make them hold buckets of water.

How's your work been going?

It's been going well. I was quite busy during the time Juudai was recovering from his injuries as he needed us to run things while he was gone, but I think we did well and ran things as smoothly as possible, keeping the New Horizons Project going among other things.

It's been fun teaching those taking part in New Horizons about spirits too.

I wish I could've taken a more active part in the New Horizons stuff... I only really got to do so much as an instructor, but I feel like I could've done way more for it.

I agree with you pushing for that. It's unfair on you and the other teachers to have to work so much, simply because they're under-staffed.

Mm. Right now, our Ritual Instructor has to pull double-duty and do the Fusion course, too... It's ridiculous, honestly. I don't know entirely why hiring is a problem. I suspected it might be because everyone viable either goes in with Duel Academy or goes Pro, but this is getting tiring.

That seems like terrible organisation. If they just put the word out for more hires I'm sure they'd get people.

I heard there might've been problems with getting Fusion instructor potentials at all though. But I haven't heard anything as a definite...
