So, I think I've found at least... a temporary job. At a card store.

I guess they're pretty understaffed at the moment. Two of the employees had gotten tied up in some mess. One of them came back recently though-- looks like he's related to me.

It's not a lot, but it is something to help me save up.

That's good that you've been able to at least find a temporary solution so quickly while you think things over.

It was very much a convenient thing, yeah. Though I do feel kinda sorry for them, since the only reason they had the opening was because of trouble recently. But... at least it gives me some time. It still really is troublesome that this is happening.

At least in some good news... My parents believe in me earning things for myself, but they agreed to send some money at least to help me settle into a place for a while, once I'm out of school, since this situation was so... short-notice and out of nowhere, for me.

But the bad news is, they said if I can't find anything more stable in the next six months or so after graduation, I should just risk coming back home for a while. Hopefully, it won't come to that.

I really hope you'll be able to find something more stable in the six months after you graduate, though I'd sure you will and I'm willing to do all I can to help you.
The teachers at the academy may be able to give you advice too if you ask them.

I'm glad your parents are being supportive with this though. I really wouldn't want you to have to move back.

Yeah, I'm going to be asking them what my options are, here. The major problem is that most students aiming to go into Pro Dueling and the sort make it known more at the beginning of the year, not the end.

Yeah, I'm glad, too. They know I'm... not really fond of the idea of moving back, as it is. It was pretty much the entire point of me going to school here.

I'm sure you'll find a path you want to take.

Ugh, I feel bad for him. He does that and double duty as a Signer.

Mm. A Signer? I guess that explains why they needed the help around... you can't really do anything when your entire workforce is MIA.

Yeah, he doesn't really associate with me or the other really active Signer. Apparently our jobs don't overlap. But he's pretty nice. If cold and unfeeling.

Well, I'm glad to help them out... in no small part thanks to this helping me, too.

I can only hope this will go on for long enough for me to sort things out. And for him to get back his remaining employee.
