Well, uh. My parents got to see me.

They were... Sorta upset that something so dangerous had happened here, but they won't try to take me home, since I have one more year left in school, anyway.

My dad will come to take me home next weekend though to get a new pair of glasses at the usual office, after I get out of the hospital. So I'll have to deal with not being able to see much unless if it's right up to my face for a bit, still.

Well, I'm glad they are at least not going to force you to go back home.

I'm glad, too. But they're concerned about what might happen. They expect me to tell them if anything like it happens again, regardless of whether or not I get hurt.

And as much as you can try and avoid it, things like this always have a habit of finding you. It's part of life living in this city.

... I probably wouldn't really mind it so much, to be honest, if I didn't feel a need to hide it, to spare their worry about it. But it might just be me.

And I want to know why a giant wind monster stepping you didn't kill you.

Maybe it was an act of god, that I didn't die.

No, I'm pretty sure an act of god would of just turned you into a girl.

I'm going to wager that maybe an act of you would.
