Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, I guess. I'll be seeing my parents for it on the weekend, instead. Easier for me to get home, then, and then New Years...

I guess it'll be fine going back there for a few days, at least.

He got Ruka a very nice, simply designed scrapbook with a tool set for working on a scrapbook in the first place! As well as a leather-bound journal-- with a nice fountain pen to write with.*

*Ruka got Shinji a very large book entitled "The Lore of Duel Spirits" which includes all kinds of stories and legends behind well known Duel Monsters and a ton about their world. Attached inside the front cover is s note from Ruka explaining that this book was written by a duel spirit that the spirit foundation helped a while back. In the hopes to further the connection between spirits and people, the spirit wrote this book to give people more insight and knowledge about spirits and give a better understanding.
It isn't published yet but the foundation were given copies as thanks for helping her.

It was. Now I can write about the things I do and experience while I'm not with my brother, so he can read about them when I find him again. I'm also glad I'll be able to keep a scrapbook of pictures, both of my friends and brother and any future pictures I might take.

I figured it would be the best book to give you and we had a few spare. It definitely has the best and most up-to-date information you can have.
We're still helping the spirit who wrote it to find a publisher who'll take it but I know once we do, it'll sell really well!
But yours is a first edition, one of only 25 copies that currently exist.

I'll definitely enjoy it, then. I hope getting it published does goes well. I'm sure there's at least someone out there who'll do it.
