Well, I had another dream. Only this time, it wasn't about a library, or about being talked to by anyone.

Honestly, I'd rather have the library dreams than that nightmare.

What kind of dream was this one?

... It was about some people I knew, at my old school. Before I came to Duel Academy.

They... Weren't fond of me, to put it lightly.

I see... I'm guessing you had some problems with them.
I dislike it when dreams suddenly decide to drag up the past for seemingly no reason.

... I'm going to assume it being kicked and punched or something similar to bullying.

Some problems, yes. It mostly came to head right before graduation. Nearly got them barred from it, though.

I do hate it when dreams do that, but it's hard to control that.

Mmm... To expound at least, for most of the time, it was just... Ignoring and insults. It was mostly in the last year that they turned violent against me.

Like I said, it came to head right before graduation, then. A few days before it.

Uh, if you don't mind me asking, why did it come to a head?

It was just an escalation of things.

I ended up trying to fight back on that day, and it made their retaliation worse. Saying I should've just taken it, and no one would've had trouble.

Not that it's true-- it's just trying to shift around blame for something they shouldn't have done in the first place.

Yeah, honestly nothing either way you can deal with that. I think that stuff tends to be a case between choosing between Scylla and Charybdis, so to speak.

Choosing between two evils? ... I guess. I can't stand bullying, though.

It didn't help that they assumed a lot of things about me, too, so it just ended up getting under my skin, in the end.

The subconscious mind can be cruel sometimes.
But at least you don't have to deal with them now in reality.

That's the thankful part. But that's mainly because I'm in a completely different city, now.

It's actually what spurred on me coming here in the first place. I would've went to a local public school, otherwise.

It's a shame that it was bad enough that you had to move to another city... but then if you hadn't, we wouldn't of ever met.

Yeah... There's always brighter points to actions taken. Even if it was a bad thing, it did result in some good things.

Exactly. I think the same can be said of any situation.

Mmm... I just wish I didn't have to dream about the bad things as a result.

Especially like that...

Yeah, I hate bullies myself. My older sisters were constantly bullied by these two blondes in high school.

Mm... I wish I didn't have to think about them.

So let's go have lunch instead.
